About John Ghanim

I am John Ghanim — a Yemeni ex-Muslim, follower of Jesus Christ, full-time missionary, public speaker, and digital evangelist based in the UK.

After leaving Islam and later encountering Jesus Christ, my life was radically transformed by the truth and power of the Gospel. Following Jesus cost me everything. I lost my family, my homeland, my safety, and the life I once knew — but Jesus Christ is worthy of it all.

Today, I live fully surrendered to proclaiming His name boldly.

My mission is to make Jesus Christ known, especially across the Arabic-speaking world, through preaching, testimony, media, digital evangelism, and public witness. I believe social media is one of the great mission fields of our time, and I use it to take the Gospel where many cannot go physically.

Alongside this, I speak in churches, conferences, seminars, student gatherings, interviews, and media settings, calling believers to stand firm, live boldly, and remain unashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I also stand with the wider persecuted Church, using my voice to strengthen believers, raise awareness, and point people back to the cost, the beauty, and the power of following Christ. My heart is to see lives transformed, the Church awakened, and this generation challenged to live radically for Jesus Christ.
